Due to is flexible design the unit can be supplied in a variety of formats to suit many needs. Activity monitoring to warn when the door is opened.

Activity monitoring to warn when the door is opened. Requires no intervention by the care staff (P161A).

Door usage alarm. The alarm is latched and requires staff to attend the door to reset the alarm and investigate. Ideal for EMERGENCY doors (P161B).

Outdoor range 450m.

The unit is housed in small 40*110mm case, powered by a Lithium Coin Cell for up to 1 year, with alarm on battery low.

It is compatible with the P137 pager which can monitor up to 32 such alarms (or the P138 for 3 users) or the P117C Telephone Autodialler.

The operating magnet is particularly strong making installation easy, often without any modification to doors or architraves.

The unit can use the Safelink protocol in high dependency situations to ensure there is no loss of radio contact.

“SafeLink” is a complete radio link concept which, by means of repetitive self-check signals and secure information coding, can alert the carer not only to the alarm but also to the loss or degradation of the radio signal. Most importantly it warns of interference from other systems using the same frequency range (e.g. door-bells, car locks, burglar alarms). As many as 15 systems can be used in the same area without interfering with each other. The radio signal will penetrate walls so that the system is suitable for linking bedrooms, between floors or even between adjacent houses, up to a clear sight range of 450 metres.
